"Genius just can't come on a full stomach. True brilliance can only come to the Starving Artist. Now go and be hungry."

I have schizoaffective disorder, a mental disability that has symptoms of severe bipolar disorder and lowgrade schizophrenia. What this means for me is a life of terrible, can'tgetoutofbed depression and intense, paintthelivingroom mania, combined with paranoia, delusions, psychosis, obsessive cumpulsion; it's fun.

As you can imagine I'm active in mental disability awareness (I don't like the term "illness").

I earned a graduate degree this past summer. I teach at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I've written 18 novels and one memoir. If you want to know anything else about me, or have a question or comment or you just want to tell me something. Click on the word HERE.
